Klein Curaçao: Catamaran Day Trip with BBQ & Open Bar

Come aboard one of the two biggest and newest catamarans on the island and expect a fully catered day to the beautiful island of Klein Curacao. The experienced and highly energetic crew will make sure you have an exceptional day.

You will depart from Jan Thiel Beach at 8:00 AM or 8:30 AM, depending on which catamaran is booked. Make sure to check-in at least 15 minutes prior to departure.

Once you’ve found a nice spot and settled on board, the catamaran takes you to Klein Curacao in about 1 hour and 45 minutes. While cruising to Klein Curacao you can admire the stunning coastal views and maybe even spot dolphins playfully swimming alongside the catamaran.

When the catamaran arrives at Klein Curacao you can choose to stay onboard and relax on the catamaran nets, hop on the dinghy that will bring you ashore, or jump in the crystal clear water and take a refreshing swim to shore. While on the island you can chill under the palapas which offer plenty of shade, or go and explore the island.
If you’re in for an activity you can walk to the iconic pink lighthouse, the shipwrecks and some ruins and graves or go snorkeling. When snorkeling there’s a chance you might see sea turtles!

Whatever you choose to do, don’t forget to hydrate! Throughout the entire day, you can choose from a variety of refreshing drinks, including chilled water, juices, and soft drinks. And while you’re enjoying your day on the island the crew prepares a delicious BBQ lunch on board. This extensive BBQ lunch includes three types of meat (usually spare ribs, chicken and steak), three homemade salads, bread, the famous homemade 'pindasaus' and fresh fruit. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, you can mention this when booking (at least one day in advance).

During lunchtime the open bar kicks off, offering a range of alcoholic beverages including rum, vodka, whiskey, white wine, rosé wine, and beer. After lunch the choice is yours, you can enjoy more of the open bar or continue to explore the island.

At around 2:30 PM or 3:00 PM it’s time to hoist the sails and smoothly cruise back to the main island of Curaçao. But the fun doesn’t stop there because this is when the famous 'Captains Happy Hour' starts! Time to enjoy the perfect ending of this day trip and dock at Jan Thiel Beach at around 4:30 PM or 5:00 PM.

There is a masseuse who often joins the trip to Klein Curaçao. If she is available, you can reserve a spot with her on the day of the trip.
